Nycticebus pygmaeus., The pygmy slow loris is nocturnal and arboreal, and is most commonly found in semi-evergreen, secondary,and mixed deciduous forests. It is distributed east of the Mekong River in Vietnam, eastern Cambodia, Laos, and Yunnan province in southern China.

Nycticebus coucang., The two species of slow loris, Nycticebus pygmaeus and Nycticebus coucang , are both native to southeast Asia. This nocturnal primate lives an arboreal life high above the forest floor. Slow loris are omnivores and will eat snails, insects, small vertebrates and fruits. The slow loris gets its name from its slow, deliberate movement, but can be surprisingly quick when grabbing prey.

Theropithecus gelada., - The gelada baboon is found only within the country of Ethiopia in Africa. This high altitude primate is more terrestrial than most other monkeys. Colobus angolensis., Colobus monkeys are native to central Africa. This species gets its name, due to their reduced thumb size, from the Greek word colobus, meaning mutilated. However, this "mutilation" allows the colobus to move more freely through the tree-tops than other African monkeys. Colobus are unique in that their digestive system allows them to eat certain leaves and unripe fruit containing toxins that most other monkeys avoid.

Macaca nigra.,  Male Skull. The Celebes macaque is found only on the northeastern peninsula of Sulawesi. This large monkey is sometimes, although wrongly, called an ape due to its very small tail.
